August 3, 2017

Tuesday, August 15 at 1:30pm: WOW extends an invitation to everyone for tea and conversation on the Woodcliff lawn. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket, so we don’t have to bring out chairs from the church. Then, before leaving we encourage you to enjoy a walk on Woodcliff Meditation Path. If the weather is inclement, we will move inside to the lounge. Hope to see you there!

Stewardship Update

June 16, 2017

Over the last 2 months the Stewardship committee have made announcements on a requirement for increased givings in order to meet our 2017 budget.  Our 2017 deficit is $26,000 and to make up that deficit $16,000 was requested from increased offerings and the rest would be made up from increases in building rentals.  We are pleased to announce that our congregation has really stepped up!  Over this campaign we have seen an increase in pledges of $14,535 for 2017. 90% of our goal!   If the increase in pledges stays constant for 2018 this would extrapolate to a $19,210 increase!  You can still change your pledge and help push us over that target goal – If you would like to increase weekly pledges or join PAR please contact Betty Crosby at bscrosby@gmail.com.

Habitat for Humanity

June 7, 2017

What a successful endeavour! Woodcliff provided three teams of volunteers on May 30, June 3 and June 10 to work on a Habitat for Humanity sixplex in Bowness. A big thank you to all the individuals who worked or supported one or more of the build days.

In addition to the people power provided, our volunteers also contributed $1756 to the build through their donations and personal fundraising pages. Hats off to all who donated and supported our Interfaith Build project.
