Worship Service

Join us for worship every Sunday at 10:00 am as we come together in prayer, reflection, scripture, and song to connect with God, each other, and ourselves. Together, we invite everyone to come as they are, participate as much as they are comfortable, and join us in this journey of faith.

All are welcome at God's table for communion, usually served on the first Sunday of each month. Stay after the service for coffee and connection, and watch for special worship events throughout the year. We look forward to welcoming you!

National Healing Forest & Outdoor Spaces at Woodcliff

We invite you to discover the serene and inspiring spaces just behind Woodcliff United Church in Calgary. Explore the National Healing Forest, Medicinal Wheel Garden, Native Plant Garden, and Labyrinth—each offering a peaceful and meaningful experience. These beautiful spaces are open to all, welcoming you to connect with nature and find calm in your day.

Labyrinth

Welcome to the community labyrinth at Woodcliff United Church.  People of every age and spirituality are invited to walk this labyrinth.

The labyrinth is an ancient and powerful tool used for meditation, prayer, relaxation, and celebration.   It can help you restore a sense of balance to body, mind, and spirit.  There is only one path.  It winds to the centre and back out again so you cannot get lost.  If you meet another walker, step to the side, allow the walker to pass, and then resume your walk.

How to Walk the Labyrinth

  • Prepare:  Take a moment to centre yourself.  Take a deep breath, stand or sit quietly.

  • The Journey In:  Follow the path.  Release concerns and quiet your mind.

  • The Centre:  Receive what insight the moment offers.  Stay as long as you need.

  • The Journey Out:  Return following the same path.  Reflect on how you might carry this insight into your life.

  • Music may enhance your experience.  Listen with ear buds to respect our neighbours.

We are more than Sunday mornings. Woodcliff is a vibrant place full of opportunities and activities for all. Visit our Programs and Events page for all the details.
